Large Cedar Suet Log

8318LCDR
Regular price $28.00 $0.00

At 24 inches long, this is our largest cedar log feeder. It has eight holes (and likely a crack or two) to feed all the birds at once! Woodpeckers, nuthatches, titmice, and other clinging birds will enjoy this natural feeder. Made in the USA from a local furniture manufacturer's cut-offs. The holes fit any suet plugs on the market, as well as Bark Butter®, peanut butter, or spreadable suet.

  • Solid Northern White Cedar rustic log. There may be splits & cracks, which is normal. No bark.
  • 3-1⁄2” diameter logs x 24" long
  • Large open-ended hook for hanging
  • Holes are drilled partway through and are 1-1⁄4” in diameter to hold suet plugs, spreadable suet, or peanut butter
  • Roughened texture for birds to cling to
  • 10-packs of Log Jammer Suet Plugs available here!

Also available in Mini 8", Regular 16", and Clinger.

The cedar logs may have cracks when you get them. If they don’t, you can expect them to crack as they dry. The cracking stops at the core and will not split the log in half. This adds a rustic appearance to the logs. Make the cracks functional! Fill them with Bark Butter®, peanut butter, leftover suet, or nuts.
