Squirrel baffles are the best way to protect bird feeders from squirrels, chipmunks, rats, and mice. Also great for protecting pole mounted birdhouses and nest boxes.
Made of durable galvanized steel and powder coated black.
16-3/4" long and 6-1/4" in diameter Attractive scalloped bottom edge Attaches to our 1" poles. Also fits round poles up to 1-1/2", or square poles up to 1-1/8" Mounting hardware included Also available in a longer size as a raccoon baffle !
IMPORTANT: Only works with STRAIGHT poles. Cannot be attached to curved or shepherd's hooks, as it needs to fit over the top .
SQUIRREL PROOF POLE PLACEMENT:
To keep squirrels from getting onto your bird feeders, place your pole 8-10' away from railings, roofs or trees. This prevents the squirrels from leaping over the baffle. Squirrel baffles should be mounted a minimum of 4' from the top of baffle to the ground.
