**Less-than-perfect: Cosmetic issues only! Your feeder may have large knots or chips in the wood, or scratches in the wood or plexiglass windows. No functional problems or missing parts.

Provide a safe feeding station for your Eastern Bluebirds while you enjoy watching the action! Built of long-lasting solid cedar with large clear plexiglass windows on both sides, this mealworm feeder lets the birds see the enticing food inside while also protecting it from the elements. Solid construction will last for many years.
  • 1-1/2" entry hole for Eastern Bluebirds
  • Solid Cedar and Stainless Steel Screw Construction - No weak staples or brads
  • Stainless Steel Hanging Cable
  • Hinged Roof for Easy Filling
  • Plexiglass viewing windows with entry holes (replacement viewing windows without entry holes are also available)
  • Made in the USA

How it works:  The feeder has entry holes on both ends (as well as in each plexiglass window) that allow the bluebirds to feed inside.  The entry holes prevent larger more aggressive birds, like starlings & jays, from feeding.   Directions are included on how to use this feeder.  Chickadees, nuthatches, and wrens will also be able to feed here. The Hanging Bluebird Feeder can also be bottom mounted on a pole (sold separately).

It can take a little time for your bluebirds to understand how to enter this feeder. When first introducing it, we recommend removing one of the plexiglass windows and placing a few live mealworms in a small dish inside. Once the birds understand there is (the most delicious) food inside, they should be willing to try the entry holes and you can put the window back after a few days.

    Overall dimensions:  11” wide x 7” deep x 8” tall.
