Clinger Cedar Suet Log

Regular price $22.00 $0.00

Watch woodpeckers, nuthatches, chickadees, & titmice feed upside down.  Prevents non-clinging (and greedy) birds like starlings, grackles, and blue jays from feeding here. Your shy downy woodpeckers will finally have a chance to eat!

Made of Solid Northern White Cedar rustic logs (recycled cut-offs from a local furniture business). There may be splits & cracks, but that's normal (and great for filling with peanut butter!). We've removed the bark and roughened the log for cling-ability. Each log has four holes that fit any suet plugs on the market, and are also perfect for Bark Butter® or peanut butter.

  • 3-1⁄2” diameter logs
  • Large open-ended hook for hanging
  • Four holes are drilled partway through and are 1-1⁄4” in diameter
  • Measures 16" long
  • Roughened texture for birds to cling to
  • 10-packs of Log Jammer Suet Plugs available here!
The cedar logs may have cracks when you get them. If they don’t, you can expect them to crack as they dry. The cracking stops at the core and will not split the log in half. This adds a rustic appearance to the logs. Make the cracks functional! Fill them with Bark Butter®, peanut butter, leftover suet, or nuts.
