Made of Solid Northern White Cedar rustic logs (recycled cut-offs from a local furniture business). There may be splits & cracks, but that's normal (and great for filling with peanut butter!). We've removed the bark and roughened the log for cling-ability. Each log has four holes that fit any suet plugs on the market, and are also perfect for Bark Butter® or peanut butter.

The cedar logs may have cracks when you get them. If they don’t, you can expect them to crack as they dry. The cracking stops at the core and will not split the log in half. This adds a rustic appearance to the logs. Make the cracks functional! Fill them with Bark Butter®, peanut butter, leftover suet, or nuts.
